Scope: The Tipton County Sheriff's Office and Corrections Center Progressive Design-Build project consists of a new 35,788-square-foot facility that will hold eighty (80) beds. The design features state-of-the-art design features in correctional operation, safety, and security. The building includes an elevated control room with 360-degree visibility of inmate housing, and the facility will have a new intake/booking area. This jail will be a two-story facility divided into four areas: (1) inmate housing, (2) intake/booking and release, (3) public area, and (4) sheriff's office.
Pauly Jail Building Company scope of work included furnishing and installing: prefabricated modular steel cells, security hardware, locking devices, security hollow metal doors, security hollow metal frames, security glass, security glazing, mezzanines, stairs, detention furniture, security mesh, and detention accessories.
